The number of warm spaces in Preston and Lancashire is rapidly growing, as communities across the county step up to support and protect residents this winter

In November, LCC launched a new small grants scheme to allow organisations in Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise sector, as well as parish and town councils, to create or improve their warm space offer in their local community.New grant scheme to help Preston community groups run warm spaces this winter

All the applications have been reviewed and approved by a panel, with payments now in the process of being distributed. To date, 76 applications requesting registration to the Lancashire Warm Spaces directory have been approved.
