The end of the summer holidays have seen record-breaking temperatures across the UK, with Lancashire also basking in glorious weather and strong sun rays.
The latest Met Office forecast for the week ahead shows a big change in weather conditions with more cloud, outbreaks of rain and cooler temperatures. Mercury levels on Monday will peak at 20C, however they are then not expected to get higher than 18C for the rest of the week.It comes after highs of around 30C were felt in some places during the first week of September. Rain is expected to sweep across the county from around 4pm on Monday and there will also be further outbreaks on Thursday .
