Host Bradley Walsh described the offer as 'unbelievable'

A woman from Lancashire was given a 'rare' offer after impressing Paul Sinha on ITV gameshow The Chase.

The episode saw Cat earn £9,000 in the cashbuilder on yesterday's show . Her performance prompted Paul, known as The Sinnaman on the show, to put forward a rare 'low offer' on the table. Cat was given the option of £3,000 as a low offer, with Paul saying: "It's rare to give a non-celeb this as a low offer". This comment was in reference to the celebrity version of The Chase, where players win money for their chosen charity.Host Bradley Walsh described the offer as "unbelievable" and encouraged Cat to speak with her team.

The Chase, which normally airs at 5pm on a weekday was moved half an hour earlier, airing at 4:30pm yesterday, after Tipping Point with Ben Shephard, Daily Star reports. One fan found it "weird", saying: "It’s weird having chase on at 4.30 #TheChase". The change in format for ITV's daytime shows comes after the channel announced it would be making space for their World Cup coverage.
