A 30-year-old Lancaster County man was sentenced to a maximum of 12 years in prison after he broke a 3-year-old boy’s femur and inflicted several other serious injuries to the child while the boy’s mother was at the store in June 2022, according to a release from the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.

Timofey Freint, of Lititz, pleaded guilty in March to aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person and aggravated assault of a victim less than 13 and defendant 18 or older, Freint moved in with the toddler’s mother, on the 2200 block of Furnace Hills Pike, two months before the abuse and was left to care for the child while the mom was at the store on June 8, the DA’s office said.Coroner’s office confirms at least one dead in York County crashIf you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
