Dave Rushworth was out walking with friends when he suddenly fell ill and passed away on Whin Rigg in the Lake District
A fundraiser has been set up to help raise money for the funeral of a Lancashire dad who died suddenly in the Lake District.
The fundraiser, which has a goal of £7,000, was set up by Alexander Bethell. Posting a message on the GoFundMe, he said: "This weekend Dave had been away for a weekend in the Lakes with a few friends. He had a good night on Friday night having a sing and dance with a few of us, followed by a lovely Full English breakfast on Saturday morning.
Tributes have also been paid to him on social media. Lots of people are shocked by his death, but say he will never be forgotten.
