A FORMER Las Vegas big cat entertainer was mauled by a Bengal tiger at a US wildlife sanctuary, suffering broken bones.
Bowie was declawed when he was younger by a former owner who kept him as a pet before coming to the sanctuary last year.“Jonathan made the decision to shift Bowie’s gates to allow him access to his den box area. He will be recovering from multiple wounds and two broken bones for several months, the statement adds.Mr Kraft used to appear in shows with two tigers he trained as cubs on the Las Vegas strip.
Mr Kraft said in a statement: “There are many photographs showing me having close contact with a variety of animals when they were young or ones that I had raised.
