Q: I have Darren Waller on a bye, so I picked up Dawson Knox off waivers. Evan Engram is currently available.
Do I stick with Knox this week? Or drop and pick up Engram. With Waller dealing with a hamstring injury, I may need to fill in for more than just this week . - Eric B. I think my answer for this week is neither. I dropped some Engram stats in the last question. He’s viable, but I do not like this specific matchup against the Indianapolis zone.
My TE advice today is to hit the wire and stream either Tampa Bay's Cameron Brate or Pittsburgh's Zach Gentry. The Steelers are huge dogs again, and we just saw them completely abandon the run in a similar script. Kenny Pickett threw for 300-plus yards versus a very good Buffalo defense that also plays a ton of zone.
I expect the Buccaneers to be focused on the three skilled WRs while Gentry operates underneath. Gentry essentially played every critical snap with Pat Freiermuth out to concussion and posted a pretty healthy 21.4 percent targets per route last week.
