Manchester City fought back from a 2-1 deficit to secure a dramatic draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Despite taking an early lead through Erling Haaland, City's fortunes changed when Rodri went off injured, and they conceded two goals before John Stones salvaged a point in injury time.
It's tempting to put Manchester City 's draw rescued from the jaws of defeat from the presence and then absence of the man who never loses. City were winning for the 20 minutes that Rodri was on the pitch, only for it all to fall apart when the Spaniard went off with what looked like a painful knee injury before John Stones scored an injury-time equaliser.

When Rodri was clattered inside five seconds by Kai Havertz, Haaland hurled himself into a header he was never going to get and smashed William Saliba - he was fortunate to escape a booking.
Arsenal were as jubilant as City were angry, with Guardiola kicking a chair and a furious Walker telling Oliver that he hadn't been allowed back into position. Worse was to come when Walker lost Gabriel from a corner and the Arsenal defender put his team ahead, with the officials deciding that Ederson hadn't been sufficiently impeded by Martinelli.
The performance had more energy than against Inter on Wednesday night, and Arsenal are an excellent side. This was a reminder to City that the Gunners will be right up there again fighting them for the Premier League for a third successive year.
