Billy Slater has flagged a late shift could be needed for Origin game II, as the numbers reveal how a more clinical Blues could cause a Suncorp boilover.
Queensland coach Billy Slater has not ruled out a late Reuben Cotter switch for game II of the State of Origin series on Wednesday, with the versatile forward’s move to the starting side looming.
However, Slater did not rule out the possibility of 24-year-old Sarina product Cotter being thrust into the Suncorp Stadium furnace from the opening whistle. Should NSW prove more clinical with ball in hand, the game I figures justify this pursuit of excellence.
