Even though many might not have predicted Late Night With The Devil’s commercial success, especially how quickly it has come, it shouldn’t come as a complete surprise either. As mentioned previously, the movie received rave reviews even prior to its official theatrical release, with one of the major stamps of approval coming from King, who was given an advance version of the film.
This assent from one of the genre’s most notable figures aided the movie’s chances of success and following its theatrical release, the movie earned $2.8 million in its first three days, setting a record for its studio, IFC Films. On the review aggregator website, Late Night With The Devil currently boasts an impressive 97% approval rating, making it one of the highest rated horror releases in 2024, and one of the highest rated releases of the year so far.
