Latin American delegates landed on the third highest spots at the recently-concluded Mister Global competition held at the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on Feb. 11, with Juan Carlos Ariosa from Cuba taking home the top title. | diyarista
Oscar Guerrero from Colombia settled for the first runner-up spot, while William Gama from Brazil was proclaimed second runner-up. Thirty-nine aspirants competed in the contest.Ariosa, who also took home the Mister Photogenic Award, inherited the Mister Global title from Vietnamese Danh Chieu Linh who finished second in the previous competition.
Lucas was in the Philippines in June last year to help confer the Mister Global Philippines title at the Mister International Philippines competition. He bestowed it upon Mark Avendaño, who was first runner-up in the national contest. Ariosa will have a truncated reign as Mister Global. The international organization announced during the final competition that the contest’s ninth edition will be held in November later this year, also in Thailand.
