Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore has swapped the villa for the stage as she made her West End debut last night in spooky production 2:22 A Ghost Story 🎭
Laura stars as Jenny in the show and, speaking at the time of her casting, said she was excited to make her West End debut.‘I am a huge fan of the previous productions and delighted to be getting stuck in with rehearsals and working alongside such a hugely talented cast and team.
Written by Danny Robbins, A Ghost Story has also received three Olivier Nominations, including best new play, and has also won the best new play category in the Whatsonstage awards. Speaking about the show, Danny said that ‘like Doctor Who’ the show keeps regenerating with new ‘truly thrilling performers.’
‘How exciting is it to be looking forward to Laura Whitmore’s stage debut? And Matt Willis has more than proved himself to be a brilliant, explosive actor in recent years,’ he said.
