Lauren Goodger reveals all on her natural home water birth in first exclusive shoot and interview introducing baby Larose
After revealing exclusively to OK! she's given birth, Lauren Goodger has opened the doors to her Essex flat to introduce us to her newborn daughter, Larose.
“She’s so petite!” Lauren, 34, gushes. “You know when you’re looking forward to Christmas morning? That’s what I feel like every morning when I wake up and look at her. I just love herLarose arrived three days early at 8.21am on July 20 at their home in Essex, weighing in at a healthy 8lb 9oz after a seven-hour natural labour with just a bit of help from gas and air. And Lauren and Charles quickly fill us in on all the details of the “textbook” home water birth.
“I’m actually quite happy now that we’re going to be able to share that day with Larose and that’s going to be a magical moment,” Charles says. Lauren: She’s only a few days old, so we haven’t got the sleeping 100% right yet. Everyone wants to come and see her and it’s the hardest, most tiring bit at the minute. But in a couple of weeks, once everyone has seen her, we can be in more of a routine.Charles: I was behind her all the way. I was getting my hair pulled and every time she had a contraction she was grabbing my face and gouging my eyes out. But you just go through it, comfort her and reassure her she’s doing well.
