EXCLUSIVE: After a year full of devastating experiences, Lauren Goodger tells US how working out with a PT and adopting healthy diet are helping her recapture her warrior spirit
She boldly told her Instagram followers last week, “I’m back!” and we can reveal that Lauren Goodger has a new confidence boost after overhauling her diet and fitness regime.
"It means I’m healing. I’ve got Larose and she’s very active. She walks everywhere, so I’m always on the go.” “I lost weight very quickly after I had Lorena because of the trauma,” says the 36-year-old. “It was because I felt sick all of the time. It was a horrible feeling of sadness because I just wasn’t hungry. Now, I’m healthier – I’m eating and I’m not eating s**t.
“I’m cooking from scratch and I’m eating smaller portions now. For breakfast, I’ll have something like scrambled eggs on toast, lunch is a sandwich or an omelette and dinner is a shepherd’s pie with sweet potato or pasta, as Larose loves it.” She says training is also good for her mental health. “Training really helps me mentally,” she explains. “I haven’t had any therapy and I’m not on medication. People have advised me to see a counsellor and maybe I will in the future, but it’s not something I want to do right now. I deal with things differently.
