Lauryn Goodman and Kyle Walker's bitter court battle over their children has finally concluded – with Lauryn losing the case. Here are some of the biggest bombshells revealed...
Lauryn Goodman faced a crushing defeat in court against footballer Kyle Walker , with the judge lambasting her for treating him like an "open-ended chequebook".
1. Lauryn threatened to go public that Kyle was her child's dad A particularly revealing moment of the trial was when the judge pointed out Lauryn's ploy to go public about Kyle fathering her child unless he continued his financial support, even considering moving close to Kyle and Annie's Cheshire home, much to the footballer's dismay, reports the Mirror.
"As well as making a significant number of obvious social media hints about the paternity, the mother decided to send a text message to the father's wife on 27th December 2023, at a time when she knew the father was playing football so would not be at home, saying: 'Hey its Lauryn I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter'. This was intended to, and did, cause distress to the father's wife.
4. Lauryn's financial demands for her home The list of demands included a lump sum for air conditioning installation in her Sussex home, costing £33,000, a new car every four years worth £70,000, and the creation of an astroturf football pitch in her garden, costing a whopping £31,2000. Lauryn had her own lavish desires, wanting a £70,000 Mercedes GLE, also to be replaced every three years, and £171.81 per month for two mobile phones – one for family and another for friends.
The judge highlighted Laurie's past "conviction for benefit fraud relating to misappropriate of £21,000" and contrasted her credibility against Kyle Walker, who he deemed a "perfectly straightforward witness gave his answers in an even and thoughtful tone."
