Athletes did their club proud during the tournament at Grangemouth
Law and District Amateur Athletic Club stars have been doing themselves and their club proud with superb performances at the Scottish National Indoor Championships recently.Under-15 Roisin McClelland achieved a personal best of 7.96m with a 3kg shot. Next up, U15 Kyle Ferguson had a good set of throws with a best of 7.90m with a 4kg shot.
Finally, in the throws Law had three Masters men competing and, after the formulas were run, M45 Andy Dawkins won gold with a fine throw of 12.48m, M45 Graeme Ferguson took silver with 11.48m and M40 Paul Dearie bronze with 11. 88m, all throwing a 7.26kg shot put. U17 Tehillah Ikechukwo-Okonkwo won silver in the 60m in a time of 7.72s, just outside her personal best.
The 13-year-old was the youngest competitor of the whole competition and did herself, coaches and family proud with a fine time of 8.96s, just outside her personal best.
