Laura Wray, 62, admitted she has discovered that London-based law graduate Fiona Harvey, 58, on whom Richard Gadd’s TV stalker is based, is house hunting in Buchlyvie, Stirlingshire.
A Scots lawyer has spoken of her fears that Baby Reindeer ’s real-life Martha is moving back to Scotland to be close to her.
“I thought she was down in London, but a few weeks ago we were told that in the little village era is called Buchlyvie, which is where she's from originally. “One day I’d come into the office. The answerphone would be full of messages all from her. I had grown adults in tears terrified that she was going to harm them.”
In Baby Reindeer, which is billed as a true story by Netflix, lead character Donny Dunn based on Gadd discovers his stalker had stalked the parents of a deaf child, which closely resembles Wray’s recollection of events to the extent that she described them as “uncanny” when she spoke to the Record in April.
Wray, the widow of the late Labour MP Jimmy Wray who died in 2013, has threatened the real-life Baby Reindeer 'stalker' with legal action over harassment claims.
