After another nail biting night of Strictly Come Dancing, Layton Williams has officially quickstepped his way to the top of the leaderboard with Amanda Abbington close behind
After another exciting round of dancing from all 15 of this year's contestants, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin topped the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard with a score of 65 points!
However, despite their success, another star was hot on Layton’s heels, as Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice only narrowly missed out on the top spot with a score of 61. Nigel was then closely followed by Amanda Abbington, Ellie Leach, Bobby Brazier and Layton Williams who all scored 29 points after their first dance.
As nobody was eliminated last week to allow all of the contestants another chance to shine, the scores from last week were carried over to week two where they were combined to give a joint score altogether, which would later be used to decide which dancers would be facing the dreaded dance off.
