BREAKING: Lebanon plunged into darkness after country runs out of electricity
Lebanon experienced power outages throughout September with the state only providing 2-3 hours of electricity each day
The al Zahrani and the Deir Ammar power stations stopped working after supplies of diesel were apparently exhausted, and energy production dropped to below 200 megawatts . There were power outages throughout September due to a fuel shortage that in recent months has forced many businesses to close and left people relying on the black market.
