Directed by Kim Sung Hoon of “Confidential Assignment,” “Dreams of You” is a romantic comedy about the actor Kang Jun Woo, who is known as the “Prince of Asia,” finding true love in the unfamiliar land of Vietnam. The film explores an unpredictable romance between a top Korean star and a pure-hearted Vietnamese woman.
Lee Kwang Soo, known for his massive fanbase across Asia, plays Kang Jun Woo, a star who dreams of making it to Cannes. In Vietnam for a commercial shoot, Kang Jun Woo finds himself alone and broke by chance and meets Tao , a Vietnamese woman who dreams of being a barista. This chance encounter introduces him to a new world far from his previous life.
Vietnamese actress Hoang Ha will star as Tao, embarking on a fateful romance with Lee Kwang Soo. This will be her first project aimed at Korean audiences, although she has been active in both film and television in Vietnam. Versatile actor Eum Moon Suk will also join the cast, adding a lively element to the romance.
