West Yorkshire Police have arrested 21 people following the incident on Sunday night
Bonfire night its often known as one of the busiest days of the year for police officers. And, last night was no except with West Yorkshire Police making 21 arrests following an unplanned firework display in Burley Lodge Park.
Officers were called to Burley Lodge Park area in Leeds on Sunday night following a call of anti-social behaviour and firework misuse involving kids - 21 people so far arrested for offences, says police. Enquiries remain ongoing today into the incidents which included criminal damage.A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police attended in the Burley Lodge Park area on Sunday following calls of anti-social behaviour and firework misuse involving youths.
"The incident was very much an isolated one in what was a largely calm weekend across the force area with people enjoying Bonfire events safely."
