Leeds United are closing in on deals for RB Leipzig’s Tyler Adams and Feyenoord’s Luis Sinisterra, The Athletic understands. More from PhilHay_
, Leipzig are open to releasing Adams on an initial season’s loan, although Leeds are looking to make his signing permanent.
United, meanwhile, have succeeded in making progress with discussions for Sinisterra, the 23-year-old whose reputation has grown in four seasons at Feyenoord. Leeds have already signed three players in this window — Marc Roca from Bayern Munich and Rasmus Kristensen and Brenden Aaronson from Red Bull Salzburg — and they want to seal a further three with Phillips’ move to City complete and Raphinha pushing to join Barcelona.
Forward Charles De Ketelaere remains a serious target, although any firm bid for him looks like to come after the acquisition of a winger and a midfielder. Sinisterra and Adams are both valued in the region of £20 million and Leeds are prepared to meet the required fees. The Premier League side have already invested £45 million in their three signings to date.
