Maureen’s Caribbean Food has been serving up authentic dishes since 2003
A Leeds gran who has been running her Caribbean takeaway for more than 20 years has revealed the secret to her success.
“If you’re just out to make money, you’re not going to get anywhere. You have to have a passion for what you do. You have to be consistent with your food. Have nice customer service because if you’re not nice, then they’re not going to come back.” Eulalie, who is currently 89, has also had a hand in helping Maureen out with her recipes. Maureen jokes that she has “no choice” but to deliver her mother meals from the restaurant fairly regularly.
