Burrow is taking to the airwaves with a brand-new podcast

Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow has embarked on a remarkable endeavour despite his ongoing battle with Motor Neurone Disease. He is now the host of a podcast called "Seven," a project that showcases his and others' unwavering spirit and determination.

The series is set to start with a bang too, with one of the country's all-time great football players, Wayne Rooney, set to be his first guest. Rooney, Manchester United's all-time leading goal-scorer, is set to be part of a star-studded line-up. The podcast is titled "Seven" in homage to the iconic number that Burrow wore on his back during his illustrious playing career with the Rhinos. In each of the seven episodes, he will ask seven questions to his guests, utilising his eye-gaze machine to facilitate communication. This innovative approach to podcasting is a testament to his resilience to battle the disease and get the word spread about MND in such a popular area like podcasting.

"This is something I'm really excited about," said Burrow. "It feels great to be given a chance to be me." The episodes will be on BBC Sounds and will be coming out in the coming weeks.
