After a rocky June it looks like country is finally set for some scorching hot weather as parts of the UK are most likely to reach their heatwave threshold on Sunday, July 10. According to the Met Office Leeds will see weather turn warmer and brighter as temperatures reach 23C across the city - with fears of water shortage and a hosepipe ban coming into place by the end of July.The Met Office shows that the region - including Leeds - in the purple patch is likely to see heatwave conditions from this Sunday.Leeds The city can expect a sunny morning from 7am until 10am where sunny intervals will remain throughout most of the day.
Temperatures will hit 23C on Sunday and continue to rise across Leeds next week hitting 26C and 28C in some places.
