After a cloudy start, forecasters are expecting some sunny weather for the majority of those across the area
The Met Office is predicting that Leeds will see a dry and fine Thursday with some spells of sun before a mix of showers over the weekend.
Met Office maps are showing a good chance of sun into the late afternoon and evening with the skies set to clear for the majority at around 6pm. A clear night is set to follow with slightly cooler temperatures in the early hours of Friday expected.The Met Office forecast for Leeds on Thursday said: "Thicker cloud and any remaining showers clearing away southwards through Thursday morning. Then a largely dry day, perhaps with the odd light shower. Best of the sunshine in the west.
