A first professional contract has been agreed between Leeds United and one of last season’s FA Youth Cup heroes. Reuben Lopata-White has signed a three-year deal with the Whites two months after playing a key role at the heart of the under-18s defence in May’s final.
A club statement said: “Leeds United are pleased to announce Reuben Lopata-White has signed his first professional contract with the club. Having impressed for the Whites’ under-18 and under-21 sides last term, the defender has penned a three-year deal, committing his future to Elland Road until 2027.
