Leeds United are reportedly open to selling Wilfried Gnonto if a substantial transfer offer arrives this month. Former Man United and Blackburn scout Mick Brown suggests the club may be willing to part ways with the Italian international due to concerns about his consistency. Gnonto has been a regular starter for Leeds in the Championship this season but his ability to perform at a high level over 90 minutes is questioned. Clubs in Saudi Arabia are reportedly interested in Gnonto, but Leeds will only sell for a price that benefits the club financially.
Leeds United could cash in on Wilfried Gnonto if a "significant" transfer offer comes in for the Italian international this month. Former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown has claimed the Whites are open to letting the mercurial attacker go.
“Leeds have a lot of really good Championship players,” Brown told Football Insider. “But I have concerns about how much of them could be Premier League players. “I don’t think you can build your team around a player like that because there’s too much inconsistency. He’s got the ability, of course, but it’s about doing it consistently, especially if they’re going to rely on him in the Premier League.
Next up for United, who are currently top of the Championship after 26 matches, entertain Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
