The inside track on the football stories that matter
Leeds United fans have been left fuming after Ipswich striker Kayden Jackson aimed a new dig at the club during the Tractor Boys’ promotion celebrations.
The 30-year-old snatched the microphone before singing “Leeds are falling apart again” live on Sky News as he laughed at the club’s misfortune. Leeds dropped to third in the table, behind both Ipswich and Leicester whose players were quick to aim digs via social media. The chant had been ringing around a number of stadiums in the EFL after a late collapse saw Daniel Farke’s side blow their chance at promotion.Fans were quick to point to the fact that, even during the promotion celebrations, the players were focused on Leeds, labelling Jackson “pathetic”.I can't get over how small they keep making Ipswich look and I really rate Ipswich as a club. It's extremely weird. Enjoy your promotion, celebrate your successes.
