Cody Drameh departed Elland Road on transfer deadline day to pursue another loan switch, this time heading out to join up with John Eustace's unbeaten Birmingham City
Whites boss Daniel Farke believes Cody Drameh has no need to be disheartened about his ability at this level after explaining that the decision to send him out on loan was taken with the right-back’s own best interests in mind.
Farke has been unable to find a place for Drameh in his side, however, with the 21-year-old making just two short substitute appearances before being sent out on loan to Championship rivals Birmingham City on transfer deadline day in a move which effectively calls time on his Elland Road career, given he is in the final 12 months of his contract.
“He has proved that he's capable to play on this level also really, really proper but we've got with Luke Ayling, a really experienced leader of our group; and right now also with Djed Spence, pretty pretty good option for this level, was outstanding, and there was no coincidence that Tottenham was willing to spend so much money for him; we have also Sam Byram, who can also play the right[-back] position; [and] Jamie Shackleton.
