There was always likely to be some who didn't make it
Understandably, Daniel Farke was not able to give definitive answers on several Leeds United players with another training session to go before tomorrow’s Preston North End clash. Assuming none of the doubts rule players out, there are three changes I would make at Deepdale.
Bogle has overcome the wobbles we saw in August and rounded into an excellent Championship right-back. Naturally, playing in such a dominant side, his attacking instincts are able to mask some of the defensive issues he may have from time to time. Max Wober has been sound at left-back, but even if he feels ready to play tomorrow, that knee swelling after Tuesday and Bogle’s presumed return to fitness would stand him down, for me. Byram and Bogle have the edge as more natural full-backs.
Largie Ramazani could have, ideally, done with a few more minutes in midweek to kick on his recovery. However, Brenden Aaronson and Manor Solomon again underwhelmed, leaving me yearning for the Belgian’s impact.
