Sheffield United will be owed compensation if Daniel Jebbinson joins another club in England this summer
Leeds United-linked Daniel Jebbison has turned down the chance to remain at Sheffield United. The forward has officially left Bramall Lane after rejecting fresh terms to extend his Blades stay.
Leeds and Sunderland are amongst the clubs to have been previously linked with Jebbison, who has represented England at Under-20 level. Should Jebbison find another club in England, Sheffield United will be entitled to some compensation because Jebbison is under 24 years of age and was offered a new deal by the Blades. If the two clubs cannot agree on a suitable compensation package, then the deal will go to a tribunal, who will assess Jebbison’s fair market value.
A quick, direct striker, Jebbison joins George Baldock, Oliver Norwood, Max Lowe, Wes Foderingham, Chris Basham, Ben Osborn, Jordan Amissah and George Dickinson in leaving the Blades on a free transfer this summer.
