Feyenoord boss Arne Slot rejected the chance to join Leeds United as manager last year after the club sacked Jesse Marsch
Former Leeds United managerial target Arne Slot is expected to take over from Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager at the end of the season. Slot, who publicly turned down the chance to join the Whites last year following Jesse Marsch ’s departure, is keen to succeed Klopp at Anfield.
"And somewhere I still have the idea that I have performed so well in recent years, earning so much that Feyenoord is thinking along those lines. After Marsch's sacking, United explored the possibility of taking Carlos Corberan from West Bromwich Albion and Andoni Iraola from Rayo Vallecano. They also held discussions with ex-Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder.
But the Whites are not alone in the race to land Hlozek. Reports overseas suggest Championship promotion rivals Leicester City are also interested in signing the player. Harry featured prominently in the young Whites racking up a fourth consecutive victory as they brushed aside Derby County on Wednesday. He bagged a double to help United move up to fourth in the U18 Premier League.
