Luis Sinisterra has attracted interest from Bournemouth and other clubs within two hours of Daniel Farke's hopeful comments on Leeds United retaining their talent before 11pm
Football moves fast, but it hits warp speed on deadline day. Shortly after 1.30pm, Daniel Farke was saying, without a 100 per cent guarantee, he was confident Leeds United’s squad shouldn’t see any major departures before 11pm, but two hours later news was emerging from Bournemouth.
Sinisterra was among a host of Leeds players who had a clause in his contract which allowed him to leave Leeds on loan after relegation. Provided the interest club picked up the winger’s wages, there would have been little the Whites could do to stop him leaving. There was a contractual issue involving Sinisterra, which proved enough of a distraction for Daniel Farke to remove him from training. The manager felt that issue was resolved last week and reintegrated the Colombian, who then scored on his return at the weekend.
