Former Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford says the training ground attitude of the players embodies Daniel Farke's mentality
The Leeds United squad will not get ahead of themselves as they negotiate another busy week of Championship action, according to former Whites striker Jermaine Beckford. Daniel Farke's men are in the middle of a three-match gameweek, with Saturday's win at Norwich City followed by a midweek trip to Stoke City and then a Saturday lunchtime derby against Huddersfield Town at Elland Road.
With Leicester City racking up another victory on Tuesday evening and a Yorkshire derby coming up, there are plenty of sub-plots that the Leeds squad could be drawn towards, but Beckford insists this is not the case."No, not really to be honest," he said on Sky Sports ahead of the clash at Stoke. "They're focused on the here and the now.
After Saturday's Elland Road clash against Huddersfield, Leeds will head to the King Power Stadium to take on runaway leaders Leicester City under the Friday night lights.
