Plymouth Argyle have strengthened their attack by signing free agent Andre Gray
One of Leeds United's league rivals have today beefed up their forward line. Plymouth Argyle have announced the signing of former Watford and Burnley striker Andre Gray on a short-term contract until January.
Gray bagged 25 goals when the Clarets won the Championship in 2016. He was sold to Watford a year later for a then-club record fee believed to be around £18.5m. The forward spent time at Greek side Aris Salonika before moving to Saudi Arabia last year. “Andre is a striker of real quality and has played and scored goals at the highest level. He will provide competition in forward areas as we head into a busy period of the season and I am really happy to have him here.
