Rodrigo played over 90 times for Leeds United during his three year stint at the club
Ex-Leeds United star Rodrigo Moreno faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after undergoing finger surgery. The forward suffered the injury on his debut for Qatari side Al-Gharafa earlier this month.
"It is worth noting that Rodrigo suffered this injury in the match against Al-Shamal in the fourth round of the Ooredoo League, and as a result he left the match and the player will be absent from training for three months. The official website wishes the player a full recovery and a return to the stadiums again.”
Rodrigo went on to join Al-Rayyan, hitting 12 goals in 23 outings for the Qatari side. The Spaniard spoke glowingly of his time at United in his farewell message.
