The Whites have the most expensive forward line in the Championship
Leeds United may have struggled for goals in years gone bye, but the early signs have been positive so far this season under Daniel Farke. The Whites boss has an impressive track record when it comes to his strikers grabbing the golden boot and Joel Piroe is among the early pace setters in the division.
The Dutch striker, who signed for Leeds for a reported £10million fee in the summer, has a proven track record of scoring goals at this level, adding plenty of value to an already competitive forward line. The reported £30million signing of Georginio Rutter in January strengthened their forward line, although he wasn't able to hit the ground running in the Premier League.
This season has been a different story and the Whites are starting to find their groove. They have firepower in their squad to at the very least fire them to a play-off berth, with recent studies claiming they have the most expensive forward line in the Championship. In fact, according to the Football Observatory, Real Madrid's forward costs in the region of €93million while Leeds United's front line costs €161million.
The Foxes have the most expensive squad overall in the Championship, valued in the region of €281million, Southampton are second highest with a squad value of €228million with Leeds in third with a squad valuation of €226million - the same as Premier League and European side Brighton.
