It could prove to be a lucrative deal for Leeds United
Leeds United's new Adidas is worth "millions of pounds" to the Championship club, according to finance expert Dan Plumley.
Speaking to MOT Leeds News, Plumley said: “It’s a really good deal. You look at the way in which this has come about and linked to some of those record kit sales, it’s obvious that Adidas are invested in that as well and see potential in Leeds United. “It won’t be that top-tier Adidas package given where they are at the minute, but it shows the relationship is going well and that can drive other leverage going forward. It just seems to be a really positive deal at the minute and really working well.”
“But certainly if Leeds are promoted there will be no cut-price deal. There will be a bonus in this deal which will allow them to benefit greatly from being a Premier League club again.”
