Leeds United are reportedly eyeing Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher as a potential transfer target for the January window. The club is seeking a new shot-stopper to replace Illan Meslier, whose performances have been inconsistent this season.
Leeds United have reportedly identified Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher as a transfer target for January, it has been claimed. Daniel Farke's side are said to be looking to add a new shot-stopper to their ranks with Illan Meslier 's performances not convincing so far this season.
With this in mind, it now appears that Leeds are after a new goalkeeper - and Kelleher is at the top of their shopping list, according to CaughtOffside. The 26-year-old has impressed when called upon at Liverpool, having most recently enjoyed a successful run in the XI after Alisson was ruled out for two months due to a hamstring injury. Kelleher made 11 appearances in that period, keeping six clean sheets.
"That was my thought process – but it's always been my thought process because obviously I am a football player and, like every player, I want to play. I'm not going to enjoy myself or be happy sitting on the bench.
