Leeds United face Norwich City at Carrow Road in the Championship on Tuesday night and Daniel Farke has named his squad with one change made to the line-up in Norfolk
Changes to the Leeds United starting line-up have been kept to a minimum by Daniel Farke after Ethan Amapdu’s extended absence ripped out the heart of the side. Rotation may have been a temptation for the German in the second of three matches across six days, but Ao Tanaka is the only new face he turns to.
Joel Piroe might have had one eye on a midweek start after the goalscoring form he has been in, but Mateo Joseph is retained after fulsome praise from Farke in recent weeks. Junior Firpo and Pascal Struijk continue after recovering from niggles of their own last week. Charlie Crew and Sam Chambers are restored to the bench to compensate for Tanaka’s move into the line-up and Isaac Schmidt's injury. Tonight’s referee against the Canaries is Stephen Martin and he is assisted by Mark Dwyer, Greg Read and Matthew Donohue .
Substitutes: Karl Darlow, Joe Rothwell, Patrick Bamford, Joel Piroe, Sam Byram, Joe Gelhardt, James Debayo, Sam Chambers, Charlie Crew.
