Leeds United bounced from Wednesday night's defeat to Stoke City in style, thrashing local rivals Huddersfield Town 4-1 in Saturday's early kick-off at Elland Road. The damage was done in a blistering first-half when Crysencio Summerville and Dan James both helped themselves to braces against a poor Terriers side.
The hosts thought they had an early lead when Joel Piroe had the ball in the back of the net after 10 minutes, only for the striker to be flagged for offside. The home fans didn't have too long to wait for the opener though, when James was on hand to fire home from the edge of area after a slick counterattack which saw Georginio Rutter find Summerville, who teed up the goalscorer.Leeds would then turn on the style.
