Latest Leeds United news with the Whites' opponents for the Championship play-off final at Wembley confirmed as Southampton
Leeds United will take on Southampton at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, May 26 for a spot in the Premier League. The two sides, who were both relegated last season, will be eyeing an immediate return to the top flight following play-off semi-final wins over Norwich City and West Brom respectively.
A tense first leg at Carrow Road, which ended goalless, the previous Sunday was quickly forgotten about with Daniel Farke's men winning in style. Following that game, West Brom and Southampton also both failed to score in their semi-final first leg at the Hawthorns with the absence of the latter's star man Che Adams due to injury certainly noticeable.

In the late stages, Armstrong grabbed his second of the game from the penalty spot after substitute Ryan Manning was fouled by Tom Fellows. Cedric Kipre grabbed a goal deep into added time but it was merely a consolation.
