Real Betis have already lodged their interest in the 27-year-old this summer
Leeds United have been urged to part ways with one defender who has already been touted for a switch to La Liga.
Having joined the club from Barcelona in 2021, Firpo still has a year left on his contract, which means the defender would be able to negotiate a deal to leave West Yorkshire on a free as early as January. Marc Roca and Diego Llorente have already departed the club and one former Leeds player believes Firpo wouldn't be a miss for Daniel Farke's men.
"I think you always need strength-in-depth and that's a position which is vitally important. Having someone who is going to push him on to be better in every game is a good thing."
