Leeds United face Coventry City in a key Championship clash. Manager Daniel Farke will have a mostly full squad to choose from, with Pascal Struijk in contention for a return after injury. The match will test Leeds' title credentials after Coventry's recent winning streak.
Leeds United are back on the road tonight as they take on in-form Coventry City. It promises to be a stern examination of the Whites' title credentials as the Sky Blues enter the clash on the back of four consecutive Championship wins.
It will be interesting to see if Farke opts to tinker with his starting XI following their 7-0 demolition of Cardiff City last weekend. Centre-back Pascal Struijk is in contention for a recall after recovering from his hamstring issue. Struijk entered the fray as a late substitute at Elland Road on Saturday as the Whites recorded their biggest victory since 1972.
If Farke opts to hand Struijk a start, the smart money would be on Ethan Ampadu moving into midfield to play alongside Ao Tanaka in the double pivot role. It is unlikely Farke will alter his front four. Daniel James, Brenden Aaronson, Manor Solomon and Joel Piroe all got on the scoresheet in the Cardiff drubbing.
Leeds United squad vs Coventry City: Meslier, Darlow, Cairns, Bogle, Rodon, Struijk, Debayo, Schmidt, Wober, Firpo, James, Gnonto, Gruev, Ampadu, Rothwell, Tanaka, Guilavogui, Solomon, Ramazani, Aaronson, Joseph, Piroe.
