Leeds United look like they're starting to warm-up according to former Leicester City striker Alan Smith
Former Leicester City and Arsenal striker Alan Smith believes Leeds United will definitely be in the promotion mix come the end of the season. The ex-Foxes star claims he's always rated the Whites' ability to bounce straight back up to the top flight, despite a tough start to the season.
Smith believes the Whites are starting to warm-up having played eight rounds of Championship fixtures. "I always rated Leeds United’s chances of bouncing straight back to the Premier League," he told Lord Ping."They’ve had a bit of a stuttering start, but they are warming up under Daniel Farke and showing signs that they will be competing towards the top end of the table this season.
"Tony Mowbray’s Sunderland team could also compete for a spot at the top of the table too. The Championship is a marathon. It’s a gruelling race and teams will have to have staying power to last the distance."
