Gareth Ainsworth fears Leeds United will struggle to retain some of their best players following their Championship play-off final defeat.
It concluded a largely impressive campaign for Daniel Farke 's side in the cruellest of fashions. Leeds managed to accumulate 90 points in the regular league season, becoming the first side in the division to achieve that total and not secure Premier League football. Former Wycombe Wanderers and Queens Park Rangers manager Gareth Ainsworth sympathised with the Whites supporters for the manner in which they lost the tie at Wembley. Reflecting on Leeds' play-off final defeat to the Saints, Ainsworth told BBC Radio 5 Live's 72+ podcast that Farke must lift the team to go again.
