RIP to a city legend
Tributes have been paid to a Preston character whose 'tremendous musical grasp' was vital to the success of one of Lancashire's most legendary record stores.

He was well read in music. He wasn't musician but he was a big part of the Preston music scene, right back from the 70s. People were doing interviews with him just a year or two ago talking about the history of the Preston music scene and the venues where bands played and Allan was one of the last survivors from this from this period, you know, back in the 60s 70s 80s.
