The 83-year-old pop superstar took photos with surprised fans as he visited the island's War Tunnels and a local restaurant.
Sir Cliff also enjoyed a meal with four friends at The Salty Dog restaurant in St Aubin's Village which recently moved its venue to opposite St Brelade's Parish Hall.The singer did not however have time to eat dessert so took it with him instead.
"I said to him, 'You won't remember me but I've got pictures of you from 40 years ago and you're looking just as good now'. He said, 'Thank you, that's lovely'."Sir Cliff is one of the most recognisable singers in British history and is the third-top-selling UK Singles Chart artist of all time, behind only the Beatles and Elvis Presley.
