Lego has teased plans to release a range of Donkey Kong sets, with Cranky, Diddy, Funky and more Kongs on the way
Cranky, Diddy, Funky and more Kongs are on the wayThe company first announced plans to introduce Donkey Kong to its Super Mario universe last month., but it wasn’t clear if it would be accompanied by a jungle set or something similar.“We can’t wait to show you the new additions to the world of Lego Super Mario!” Lego said today in a tweet which included the teaser video below.
“There’s a Kong in every kid,” the advert says as it shows off other Kong characters including Diddy, Cranky and Funky.. The Kong family played a prominent role in the recently released Super Mario Bros. Movie, which has been a big hit at the box office.
